Southern Sundays: Burying the Bourbon | Table7 Events

There is not a whole lot of rain here in Southern California, but I think this Southern wedding tradition is pretty darn fun.  "Burying the Bourbon!"  If you are of the superstitious nature, read on.  It is said that if you bury a full and unopened bottle of bourbon, upside down, exactly one month from your wedding date, at the site you plan to marry it will ward off the rain on your wedding day.

Do you believe in such a thing?  I am up for testing it out, especially since step two requires that the bottle be dug up after the ceremony and shared with the wedding party!  Now are you up to try it out?  Thought so!!!

P.S.  Table7 is in no way advocating digging up any venues, but this would be so much fun at a private residence.
