Richard Nixon Library, Yorba Linda Wedding, Steffanie + Mike | Table7 Events

I wanted to wait for the perfect time to release this wedding blog and what better month, than my very favorite, October!

If you saw our Cemetery Engagement Session post back in April, you know just how excited we were to plan Steffanie and Mike's "Nightmare Before Christmas" inspired wedding.  Of course, it turned out to be more perfect than we could have imagined.

Not only do we adore this couple, but we were in love with all of their ideas for the theme. The invites, dresses, bouquets and boutonnieres, cake, guestbook, table settings and centerpieces, grand entrance, and everything in between each had a touch of unique style from The Nightmare Before Christmas.  From pumpkins and coffins to Jack Skellington silhouettes, this wedding would be any Tim Burton fan's dream!  White and black with cobalt blue accents was the perfect color scheme for Steffanie and Mike's special day. With a little bit of Christmas, a little bit of Halloween, and a beautiful May afternoon, we had the best of all seasons to make this day truly magical.

Steffanie's beautiful daughter, Alison, played a major role in Steffanie and Mike's day.  From the first look to the ceremony and the couple's grand entrance at the reception.  We were so happy to see Mike get to share this special day with two of the most important ladies in his life and to watch them become one family.  After a perfect evening of saying "I do", taking hundreds of fun photos around the Nixon Library, and dancing the night away, the couple departed, surrounded by their loved ones cheering and waving sparklers, as they headed back to the Disney Grand Hotel in a vintage limousine.

Just like Jack and Sally, it is plain to see, that Steffanie and Mike are simply meant to be!

And they lived happily ever after!

Richard Nixon Library and Gardens, Yorba Linda: North Orange County Venues We Love | Table7 Events

Between the magnificent architecture, gorgeous swimming pool, thousands of fragrant roses, and abundance of history, it's no surprise that Richard Nixon Library is one of our favorite venues. Home to the largest public Rose Garden in Orange County, Richard Nixon Library is the perfect venue to host your special day. This venue can accommodate up to 400 guests in the garden and up to 500 guests in the White House East Room. Wedding ceremonies are typically held in the garden, with your choice of the sparkling reflection pool or the historic cottage and birthplace of Richard Nixon as your backdrop. Sounds to us like you can't go wrong either way! This rose garden is truly a dream.

We have been lucky enough to be a part of several weddings at Richard Nixon Library. One of our favorites, Shannon and Andre's wedding, perfectly showcases how easily this venue can be beautifully transformed and customized to fit each bride and groom's unique wants and needs. Shannon and Andre chose a red and ivory color scheme with subtle hints of Disney throughout their decor. However, when it comes to themes, Richard Nixon Library has done it all. Whether you are looking for a traditional wedding, a cultural wedding, a small, cozy gathering or a huge bash, this is your venue.

After your ceremony, a cocktail hour can be held in the open space of colonnade, in which guests still have the breath-taking view of the rose garden close by. A long, spacious hallway lined with flags lies just inside next to the colonnade and can be combined to create both an indoor and outdoor setting for your cocktail hour.

Perhaps one of the most magnificent parts of Richard Nixon Library is this exact replica of the White House East Room, where receptions are typically held. Prepare for a perfect night of dinner and dancing in this space, filled with beautiful crystal chandeliers, marble fireplaces, and a wooden terrazzo floor. Tables, chairs, and linens are even included. See below for how this elegant room can be transformed to accommodate your preferred number of guests according to your chosen theme and decor.

One of our favorite parts of this venue is all of history available in the Library.  It's an added layer to your event!  How many couples are able to show off wedding pictures taken in front of the Army-One Helicopter or the cozy cottage that was home to a great American President? We love how fun, classy, and patriotic these photos from Shannon and Andre's wedding look!

Richard Nixon Library has it all when it comes to weddings. From the variety of catering options to the complimentary parking, first-class event staff, and abundance of space included in your rental, this venue doesn't miss a detail when it comes to hosting your perfect day. We couldn't be more excited to add Richard Nixon Library as a preferred venue for any of our events.
