Sometimes a bride has it all together, and just needs that extra bit of assurance that things are going to happen exactly as SHE has planned, and that is where a "month of" coordinator is extremely beneficial.
Our newest client has been planning her Cinco de Mayo wedding since last March, and the details are going to be amazing. The venue she chose for the reception, the Golleher Alumni House at Cal State Fullerton, is a perfect fit for the date, theme and their family traditions.
The Alumni house is a Spanish Colonial Revival, restored in 1995, with multiple areas for entertaining intimate groups as well as seating for up to 250 guests. One of the perks, it is budget friendly.
As you approach the arched entryway, covered in greenery most of the year, you will gaze upon a serene fountain in the courtyard and open gardens on either side. This would be the ideal area for an informal cocktail reception to welcome your guest with a refreshing signature cocktail, a strawberry mojito perhaps?
There are so many wonderful Spanish details as you stroll through this venue: fountains, foliage, the art, and open-beamed ceilings, everything down to the kitchen chairs. Definitely the perfect location for a fiesta!
The terra cotta terrace and patio seat up to 250 guests for a reception which is one of the larger venues in Fullerton. This outdoor space is lit with market lights, but I can imagine this area strung with Mexican papel picado (hand cut out paper banners). See that gate? That's my sweetheart table backdrop! CANNOT WAIT!
